Join us Wednesday, Aug 12th for the FINAL concert in this year’s Southport Musicfest Series! We are excited to welcome Champagne Casanova to our stage.
Portland, Maine based Champagne Casanova got into the music business for all of the right reasons: they love to put on a show, connect with their audience and have a great time!. They specialize in Modern Pop, ’90’s Alternative, Indie-Rock, Pop-Punk and Country, Champagne Casanova covers a wide selection of the songs that you want to hear. featuring songs by Tom Petty, Shania Twain, The Proclaimers, Whitney Huston, the Cranberries, Chris Stapleton, Fall Out Boy and so many more! Get ready to dance!
For this show, they will also be joined by special guest Takoda Dionne. Takoda is a looper who layers acoustic and electric guitar, piano and he adds his fiery vocals and layered harmonies to create the sound of a multi-instrumental band with multiple singers. His music is always live with nothing pre-recorded. His live shows include a curated selection of covers and originals, both live looped and acoustic. Takoda is based in Bar Harbor, but spent some of his youth right on Southport so we are happy to welcome him home!
Southport Musicfest concerts are all-age events taking place at sunset on the lawn of The Newagen Seaside Inn. 100% of ticket sale proceeds go towards supporting Southport Island Association Community Initiatives.
